There are several varieties of oil that can be made into paint but the 5W 20 is my favorite and is definitely worth the extra cost. It can be used to achieve a wide range of effects without creating a lot of extra work or mess. You can achieve different effects by varying the amounts of oil you use, ranging from using the same amount of oil on each canvas.
The 5W 20 is the oil equivalent of a lighter. It’s made up of 5 ounces of oil and 20 ounces of kerosene. The 5W 20 is what the oil companies call a “grease-less” oil. It’s basically a lighter that you apply to a canvas instead of a brush. To create a 5W 20 oil, you simply apply the oil to the surface of the canvas and let it dry.
5W 20 oil creates a smoother surface and gives you more control over the thickness of the ink on the canvas. It also makes the ink stick to the canvas a lot better.

It’s hard to describe oil-based images. In general, there is a lot of oil in them. Like I said, 5W 20 is a cheap, quick, and effective way to apply oil to a canvas or inkjet paper.
5W 20 oil is not the only oil Ive found that is useful for oil-based images. You can also use it for acrylics and watercolors. I have found it to be a great complement to inkjet black.5W 25 oil is the latest oil in the “5W” series. Its a cheaper option, and it allows me to achieve more inks on a page.
