I just learned about this in a comment on the website for the movie, The Matrix Reloaded. There was an old man who worked on the project. He was supposed to be a cyborg who could control a car with his mind. He was supposed to have an arm attached to a car, which he could use to control the car in a way similar to the one in The Matrix, only without a car. Sadly, that project never happened.
