I have always used a different tool for every job I’ve done. I’ve never had one tool that I was able to do the job of all three. If something needed to be done, I would use a tool that fit the job.
One of the most popular tools that I have used is a torque wrench. Although it is considered a “must have” tool, it is also more of a “use it or lose it” tool. The reason that I have a different tool for each job Ive done is that I have been around for a long time, and if I go to the trouble of doing something, I always try and find a different solution.
In addition to the wrench, Ive also learned how to use the brake oil that most people use. It’s the only thing that Ive learned to use that Ive been able to go out on. Ive become a master in this area, learning how to use the brake oil so that we can get a better angle to where to put our brakes.
I think if I was stuck using a wrench and I needed to get something, I would also use the brake oil. It’s less cumbersome, and it’s safer. I am always happy to see oil change ads on TV because it shows that people are doing it right. I have also found that, while I have used brake oil that other people have used, that I have actually been using it wrong.
As I understand it (I am not an expert on oil change), the brake fluid is a mixture of brake fluid (high viscosity) and brake oil (low viscosity). The high viscosity is what makes the brake light and smooth, and the low viscosity is what makes it heavy and sticky.
I’m an expert on brake oil change and I think I can do a lot better. I have spent years on this topic and I have to say, no, I don’t have any more technical knowledge in this topic than I do. You guys know that I can do better than you. But I don’t think I’d be able to do any better than you. I don’t think I would make it here.

That’s because brake fluid is often made with synthetic oils that are low in viscosity, as opposed to high viscosity oils that are made from the same ingredients as actual brake fluids. So if you can get the cheaper one, you’ll likely get better performance and have a smoother ride. If this is the case, then brake fluids cost money.
Yes, brake fluid is expensive, but the fact that you can get cheap and still get good performance is a good thing. Synthetic oils aren’t cheap either, and they aren’t completely free from additives. That means you will have to spend some money on the service to get the better performance. You can get a full set of brake fluid at most automotive shops, or you can get it online (I got mine online because I was running low on the last refill).
There is a big difference in the cost of brake fluid online vs. at a shop. If you do it online then you have to buy everything online in one big purchase, whereas if you do it at a shop you can just go get the same fluid you could get on-line, and it will be cheaper.
The old-school mechanic on the other hand will spend more time on the car than the internet. You can find that I think it comes down to how much you like the service, and how easy it is to pay.
