will check engine light came on for transmission

I just bought a new car. I was afraid it wouldn’t start. The mechanic, who is a good mechanic, said it was fine. I had no idea that a simple check engine light would come on when I was driving.

You can check engine light if your car is on cruise. It is a symptom of a problem with your fuel system. If you have the fuel filter and air filter in place, you will not be able to see a check engine light. So if it is not causing you trouble, you may want to get that done. If you have it, you will need to have the car inspected by your mechanic to make sure it is in good working order.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that you may have to get it checked out by a mechanic. I will also say that the check engine light might not be an indicator of a malfunction and that it could just be normal wear and tear. I would suggest you either contact your mechanic to get it checked out or find out what it is you are experiencing.

Okay, you know, just to be safe I have to say that it may be nothing. Just because it is an indication of a problem, doesn’t mean you need to throw your car away. You can have it fixed and then just get your mechanic to do the inspection.

Your engine is probably just having some trouble with your oil. If it’s just happening you can usually fix it yourself. If you need to replace the oil, just do it. There’s nothing to worry about.
